Step #1: Define Idea
I aim to spread awareness throughout Salinas about the benefits of harm reduction and how carrying Narcan can save a life.
Step #2: Collect Info
We are partnering with a nonprofit organization, Access Support Network (ASN), to become certified Narcan trainers and to gain more knowledge on the subject from professionals.
Step #3: Brainstorm
I think that we should try to do a fundraiser to help supply fentanyl test strips to clinics and needle exchanges in our community.
Step #4: Draft
I made a google slide presentation of the progress we made so far
Step #5: Feedback
ASN told us they dont need anymore financial help so were sticking to advocating for harm reduction.
Step #6: Improve idea
We made an improved google slide showing how to use Narcan and elaborating on other forms and benefits of harm reduction
Step #7: Final Project
In the end, we were able to do multiple presentations to spread awareness and use our graphic design abilites to make informational slides and presentation
